We are very
excited about
2011 both for
BizLibrary
and for the
entire online
training and LMS
industry. So
many things are
happening, we
thought it would
be good to start
the year's
posting with a
quick overview
of what you can
expect in the
coming weeks and
months.
BizLibrary –
2011
We had a great
2010 with many,
many exciting
changes from a
new web site and
a brand new
feature within
our LMS –
BizQuiz,
which is our
fully integrated
quiz and survey
engine. We’ve
got some great
things planned
for 2011.

BizFlix
is the
most
exciting
new
thing we
have to
talk
about.
It’s a
new
training
service
we’ve
just
launched
that
provides
immediate
access
to video
training
programs
and DVD
training
programs
– all
rolled
into one
convenient,
comprehensive
and
cost-effective
service.
We’ve
assembled
over
3,000
training
programs
into the
service
– easily
the
largest
collection
of
online
training
video
and DVD
programs
in one
package
in the
industry |
|
We continue to
grow all of our
content
collections.
We’ve been
adding 10 or so
new programs a
month and we
expect that pace
to continue all
year. In
addition to the
off-the-shelf
content we keep
adding, we are
building more
and more custom
content for
clients. We’ve
developed a wide
range of custom
content on
topics that
range from
ethics to
internal process
training, and
we’ve got a
rapidly growing
pipeline of new
orders already
in place.
We’ve also
recently
launched YouTube
and Viddler
channels. And
you can find
materials from
us at
Slideshare. Facebook
will grow in
importance to us
in 2011, and we
invite you to
look over our
company profile
and LinkedIn. We
also post
regularly on
Twitter,
so we’re working
to find ways to
connect beyond
the traditional
marketing and
communications
channels.
One very
exciting
development is
that we are now
an approved CE
provider for
certified HR
professionals.
We run weekly
webinars, and
we’re going to
continue to
offer them at no
charge. Our
February 9th
session called
“8 Easy Steps
for Improving
Any Employee
Training
Program,” is
already
approved, and we
hope to have
many more
approved in the
coming weeks.
Our LMS is going
to provide us a
lot of fun and
excitement in
2011, too. We’ve
just launched
BizQuiz – our
fully integrated
test and survey
engine, and we
are planning to
introduce a
community
feature that
will incorporate
many Web 2.0
interactive and
collaborative
features – again
– fully
integrated into
the LMS. Stay
tuned on this,
because we
expect this
feature to be
ready in just a
few weeks.
All of these
exciting
internal changes
and developments
will keep
BizLibrary in
the forefront of
online training,
e-learning and
LMS providers
with a focus on
small and
mid-sized
organizations.
Broad trends in
the industry
indicate growing
demand for
services that
bundle content
and LMS
technology –
just like we’ve
been doing for
years. LMS
technology used
to be the sole
province of
large
organizations,
but that’s not
true anymore. In
fact, many small
and mid-sized
organizations
are learning
just how
critical LMS
tools can be to
achieving
overall goals.
BizLibrary will
be a part of the
ongoing and
interesting
conversation in
the market as we
develop and
introduce even
greater
functionality to
the small and
mid-sized market
place.
