Jennifer Kenny believes that "mobilization" represents the most important management responsibility today. She says that business skills such as setting goals, solving problems, and some aspects of management are not enough to survive and excel in this day and age.  Kenny has studied recent business failures and concludes that what is often missing is a sense of trust, a lack of coordination, and a less than sufficient commitment.

Jennifer Kenny is founder and President of Emergent Management Consulting. Her background is in management consulting, change initiation, and the design of business process and system strategies for Fortune 500 companies. In the last 15 years she has had engagements with major international corporations in the transportation, distribution and logistics, high technology, petroleum and mining, consumer products, and banking industries in the U.S., Europe, and South America.
